Tom White (b. 1995, UK) graduated from Camberwell College of Arts in 2021. His practice is rooted in his long-standing fascination with people and painting the figure. White is particularly passionate about how an artist can capture the essence of their subject in his work. Rather than painting a photorealistic representation of a person, White’s work explores how the materiality of paint can be choreographed to portray a sense of character.
