Anne Griffiths

Anne Griffiths is a Canadian-born artist, whose work is inspired by the expression of landscape through innovative knotting of colour and form. Griffiths practice includes an exploration of memory and space through her gestural line work and an energetic colour palette. Her work displays her interest in how places are stored in memory, and so she explores the depiction of an imaginative landscape. Griffiths studied painting at Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver, Canada and later received a diploma in design and illustration from Capilano University’s IDEA Program in 1986.
