Silvio Mildo (b. 1992) born in Marseille from a Portugese father and an Armenian mother is a self taught painter from the age of 22 when he discovered and explored graffiti. Throughout this first experience, he developped a workshop practice emancipating his work through diverse influences such as abstract expressionism, CoBrA movement, the works of Pierre Alechinsky or Robert Combas. „I am from no school, I try to stay free in my approach, following no other rules than the spirit of my predecessor‘s works“. In 2021, several griefs led him to dive into his Armenian origins, in order to re appropriate his family‘s history, the artist tackles obsessively the variation of a patter : an apricot or tsirani in Armenian.
