Last walk in the Garden.

Is based on a found photograph and it symbolizes the common story of families being torn apart after the revolution of 1979. It tells the narrative of mothers, sisters, friends who were forced into exile because of political situation in Iran. The two protagonists take the last walk in the garden before their lives are ripped apart indefinitely. The theme of the garden in Persian miniatures suggests the Garden of Eden and in the poetry of the feminist Iranian writer Forough Farrokhzad symbolizes the country of Iran. Farrokhzad is the artist’s favourite modern Iranian poet.
