Andrew Leventis, an American artist, received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Oil Painting from the American Academy of Art in Chicago in 2006, before relocating to London where, four years later, he received his MA in Fine Art at Wimbledon College of Art and MFA in Fine Art from Goldsmiths College, University of London in 2012. Leventis has exhibited widely in London and abroad over the past few years, including We Never Dream Alone, Kristin Hjellegjerde Gallery, London (2015), Deserts of Humanity, Display London, London (2015), and Young Gods, Exhibition of London Graduates, Griffin Gallery, London (2014), and the Salon Art Prize, Griffin Gallery and Matt Roberts Gallery, London (2012). Recent solo exhibitions include Into The Screen: Still-Life and Moving Image, Rowe Gallery, University of North Carolina at Charlotte, North Carolina (2014) and Andrew Leventis, High House Gallery, Oxfordshire (2013). Leventis has taught painting at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and has been a visiting professor of painting at Savannah College of Art and Design. He lives and works in Charlotte, North Carolina.
