Tisna Westerhof

Tisna Westerhof is from the Netherlands and is a London-based mixed media artist, exploring the idea of nostalgia and the loss of innocence of our society. Westerhof received her MA from the Central St Martins College of Art and Design, London, in 2000, preceded by a BA from the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague in 1998 and a BFA from the Academy of Fine Arts, Amsterdam in 1996.

 

Group exhibitions include The London Group Centenary, selected by Susan Haire (2013), Art & Protest at Daniel Libeskind Space, London (2013), and 400 Women at Shoreditch Town Hall, London (2011).

 

Highlights and Collections 

She is the recipient of the 1999 Dutch Royal Printmaking Award, she has exhibited internationally in Germany, Japan, The Netherlands, Switzerland and the UK.

Westerhof is the co-founder and curator of HartsLaneStudios, an experimental project space in New Cross Gate, London.
